Magu Has Vindicated The 8th Assembly – Shehu Sani
A former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, has described the embattled Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, as a ‘dubious and fake’ anti-corruption boss.
According to Sani, the EFCC under Magu was just a private army whose major aim was to witch-hunt politicians.
He said that Magu worked to sustain dubious and corrupt politicians while in office, while adding that his suspension and probing has vindicated the 8th assembly.
He said former Senate President, Bukola Saraki refused to confirm him (Magu) as EFCC’s Chairman, due to this reasons.
Sani also praised the President Muhammadu Buhari led administration, and the Attorney General of the Federation, AGF, and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami for deciding to probe Magu.
He said Magu’s arrest was a commendable step taken by Buhari and Malami.
Recall that this is not the first time Sani would attack the embattled EFCC Chairman.
Just a few days ago, he had accused Magu of only running a vicious cult.
