In March, Makinde had accused Ajimobi of awarding a N30 billion new set of contracts in one day.

Makinde had vowed to probe the award of contracts by the previous administration, especially the ones awarded after the governorship election.

Ajimobi, had however, maintained that he was ready for a probe.

“When they get there, let them cancel all the contracts we have signed. Let them investigate us and if we have stolen, they should arrest us,” Ajimobi had said.  (The Cable)
