Man City’s Rodri to miss remainder of season to ACL tear
Man City midfielder Rodri will be out till the end of the season due to anterior cruciate ligament tear he suffered against Arsenal on Sunday.
After test on Monday morning, it is confirmed that Rodri sustained the injury in his right knee.
The 2-2 draw saw the Spaniard only play 21 minutes in his first start of the season following two crunching tackles from Kai Havertz and Thomas Partey.
The Ballon d’or contender is most likely to have his surgery in Barcelona, per reports of ESPN.
Rodri has only missed eight matches throughout his entire career for both club and country with this injury the longest for the Spanish player.
