Man released from Lagos prison after spending 7 years for a crime he knew nothing about
Nigerian man has been released from Ikoyi prison in Lagos state yesterday, September 25th, after spending seven years in there for a crime he did not commit.
Lawyer Malachy Odo, who facilitated his released, recounted how he got involved in helping the man secure his freedom.
Malachy tweeted;
Odo also revealed that the victim needs to be rehabilitated because of the changes of the environment.
He further said, “Told him an Uber will be booked to take him home and he was like “what’s Uber?” Had to explain to him.
He needs a lot of rehabilitation and catching up to do.
