Manchester United fans disappointed as De Gea will miss Arsenal clash
Manchester United fans are disappointed as their wonder kid, David De Gea, will be missing in action against Arsenal this weekend.
De Gea made awesome saves in their last game against Tottenham which help hand manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer a 7th straight win since taking over from Jose Mourinho.
Argentine number one, Sergio Romero will be standing in place of De Gea who is said to be rested.
Chris Smalling, Marcos Rojo and Marouane Fellaini (calf) are all out of the Arsenal clash due to injury.
Speaking ahead of the clash with Arsenal, Solskjaer told MUTV:
“It’s still those three who are missing. Smalling has started training so hopefully he’ll be available maybe next week, so it’s looking good for him. Fellaini and Rojo are still a bit away.
“Luke Shaw was ill, he just fell ill the night before. Smalling started training again, so it’s only Rojo and Fellaini are the two I can’t call upon in this game.”
Alexis Sanchez is confirmed to play against his former side.
“He’ll be involved.
“I think he’ll love it if the crowd turn against him.
“As a player, pride kicks in and you think ‘I’ll show all of you’. He’s been fantastic in training, his attitude has been spot on so hopefully he’ll enjoy the game.”
Below is United’s squad scheduled to face Arsenal at the Emirates.
Sergio Romero, Lee Grant, Joel Pereira
