Messi receives offer from PSG

Barcelona are yet to tie Lionel Messi down to a new contract, with the veteran currently a free agent. And reports claim the Argentina international has now received an offer from Paris Saint-Germain, who are determined to secure the forward’s signature. It’s always been the Ligue 1 giants’ dream to sign either the 34-year-old or Cristiano Ronaldo and, now, a move to the Parc des Princes could be on the cards.

But with the veteran currently a free agent, with his previous deal expiring on July 1, other clubs are starting to get involved.

Messi, as arguably the best footballer of all time, is an attractive prospect to Europe’s elite. For many, however, it’s about whether the finances add up.

And AS claim that PSG have now offered a contract to the forward, with the Ligue 1 giants daring to dream.

They’ve already had a good transfer window, landing Achraf Hakimi and Georginio Wijnaldum – as well as being on the verge of snapping up Sergio Ramos and Gianluigi Donnarumma.
