Arsenal legend Ray Parlour reckons Mesut Ozil could get Unai Emery sacked at the Emirates.
The German star penned a bumper new deal last season but has fallen down the pecking order at the Emirates.
Ozil cried off Saturday’s win at Huddersfield through illness and has now started just 13 of their 26 Premier League games this season.
Emery was ousted at PSG after a falling out with Neymar, and Parlour predicts something similar could happen in north London.
He said: “It’s been a little bit like PSG with Neymar. Neymar ended up getting Emery the sack.
“He lost the dressing room and Neymar was pulling the strings there. Maybe it could be the same at Arsenal .”
Reports suggest that Ozil’s relationship with Arsenal is close to breaking point.
And Parlour believes it won’t be long until he’s out the door.
He added: “It looks like that could happen. I go back to the dilemma of what Arsenal have got. He’s on £350,000-a-week. Who is going to pay that sort of money?
“There’s got to be a time in your career, when you’re over 30 you know you’re on a slippery slope. You have to come to a decision.”
