The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has said that two personnel liable for the drone strikes in Tudun Biri community in Kaduna State will face court marshal.

This is even as the military has formally admitted errors in the drone strikes on Tudun Biri community which killed dozens of innocent citizens.

The director of Defence Information, Major General Edward Buba, disclosed this during a press briefing in Abuja on Thursday, May 2, 2024.

He said investigations have been concluded and the strikes considered a mistaken identity.

The drone strikes took place on December 3, 2023, killing several non-combatants in Tudun Biri village of Igabi local government area of Kaduna State.

The DHQ spokesman said those involved were going to face military court martial.

He, however, did not provide further details about the displinary measure but said the two personnel will face military court martial for their actions.
