Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has described as “embarrassing” the current minimum wage obtainable in the country.
Atiku made this known on Monday in a Workers’ Day statement he released on his Facebook page titled, ‘Workers’ Day: Tapping into our greatest weapon’
He said, the minimum wage should be able to keep the earner motivated to keep working and added that the current N18,000 minimum wage is not only “ill-motivating but also embarrassing.
