Following public outcry over menace of potholes all over major towns and cities of Cross River State, Governor Ben Ayade has said that his job as a governor does not include mending inner city roads or potholes.

In an interview he granted the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) International, Ayade said his tenure as Governor is targeted at turning the state into a mega economy.
“If the Cross River people need a governor that wants to do potholes and those small things, they should wait till that governor comes,” he said.
