For embattled musician, Naira Marley (real names Afeez Fashola), its indeed a lucky day, as www.e-nigeriang.com can now report that Mr. Olalekan Ojo, same lawyer who got judgement in favour of late General Sani Abacha’s Chief Security Officer, Major Al Mustapha after several years of incarceration, was contracted to handle Naira Marley’s case.

Olalekan Ojo is no push over when it to comes to trials. His years of experience span over twenty years in law practice.

Real names are Johnson Olalekan Ojo, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria – SAN and the proprietor of Olalekan Ojo & Co, also known as Comfort Chambers.

With his wealth of experience, Ojo was able to get what was widely tagged justice for Al Mustapha after the later spent about 15 years in prison custody.

Meanwhile, according to e-nigeria! correspondent who was in court today at Naira Marley’s bail hearing, Chief Olalekan’s intelligence and in-dept knowledge of the law was let out un-gagged, when he held the court spell-bound for more than twenty minutes, citing several provisions of the constitution on why the defendant should be granted bail.

He eventually succeeded in flooring the prosecuting council, Rotimi Oyedepo and convincing Justice Nicholas Oweibo to grant Naira Marley bail.

Marley was granted bail in the tune of N2 million with two sureties in like sum.

The judge said one of the sureties must be a civil servant not below Grade Level 10.
