Negligence Led To Kuje Prison Attack – PDP
The attack on the Medium Security Custodial Center in Kuje area in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has been blamed on the leadership failure by the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration.
Speaking with journalists at the PDP National Secretariat in, Abuja, on Wednesday, the Deputy National Youth Leader, Hon. Tim Osadolor, said the happenings in Nigeria have clearly showed the leadership deficiencies of Buhari- led government.
Osadolor, who was responding to questions from journalists said, “I don’t pray or envy to be a uniform person in this Nigeria. We have serious Nigerians that are competent, but whose hands are tired behind them because of policies and bureaucracy of the present administration.
“Nigeria has fine and intelligent soldiers and other security operatives but you’ll ask yourself, why this obvious blunders? It is dead leadership.
“The president went there, folded his hands and said ‘oh I am disappointed in our security intelligence personnel’ if he is truly disappointed, nobody has tendered resignation at this minute, nobody is writing statement as to their level of delineation of duty. And Buhari went to Senegal, will that bring back the lives lost? Will it bring back those that have escaped from prison? By tomorrow we’ll hear something happened in Warri and this will become past. It is one news of disaster after another disaster.
“Months ago it was the Kaduna Abuja train kidnapped victims, some days ago it was Catholic Bishop and now, the Kuje prison and presidential convoy. People are forgetting that families are still crying over their loved ones of these past events of Kaduna Abuja train, the Bishop, Chibok girls and others.
“It is a pity that we have to stay and tolerate all these. I am going to say Nigerians are the most tolerant people on earth but we believe in one thing, the power of our democracy come may 29, 2023. A new government will come into history,” he said.
