It is obvious that Nigeria is currently faced with some national challenges which in actual fact are having negative impacts on our national economy. It is also of great importance to admit that Nigeria is not in isolation in this regard as many economies of the the world are facing the same fate. In other words, it’s a global phenomenon. The reasons for this have been highlighted by many local and international economists to include the global rising cost of living, global insecurity, rising inflation and unstable exchange rates, global warming and natural disasters among others.
BAT’s 4/4 Renewed Hope Agenda uses this medium to express our heartfelt sympathy to the people and government of Borno State over the devastating flood that took over the city of Maiduguri and other parts of the state. Our condolences to the families of those that lost their loved ones to the unfortunate incident. It is our prayers that God gives them the fortitude to bear the irredeemable loss. We understand the gravity of the lost of properties that the people and government Borno State have suffered at this critical period and we join the president, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the good people of Nigeria to commensurate with them and pray that God put an end to such unfortunate incident.
The Renewed Hope Administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is gradually laying a solid economic foundation for our country as promised by the president during his electioneering period. The present idea of conversion of vehicles petrol engine to CNG fuel engine is a timely initiative that deserves every form of support. This initiative has saved over 80% of cost for the beneficiaries of the free conversion going on by the federal government at different conversion centres across the country. Considering the high cost of petrol and the implication of it combustion on vehicle engines, the CNG fuel is not only cheaper but also a cleaner and safer alternative. The leadership of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) have attested to this and are thus sensitising their members to take advantage of it so as to also reduce the cost of transportation for commuters.
As a group that is keeping keen interest on national policies, issues and challenges we commend our security operatives for their continued successes against the our common national enemies. The success of our security personnels against banditry, kidnapping and other criminals in recent is highly commendable and impressive. It shown that Nigeria has a Commander in Chief that is well grounded security wise and not ready to leave stone unturned. These successes have both national and international impacts on our nation especially on the economic front as local farmers, entrepreneurs and manufacturers in the northeast and other parts facing similar situation are now beginning to go back to their businesses. On the international front, investor’s confidence are gradually being restored with the improved security architecture.
As a support group of the All Progressive Congress that has absolute faith in the success of the Renewed Hope Administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, we identify with the good people of Nigeria on the current situation of things. The current hardship being experienced by everyone is as a result of the economic foundation the president is laying for the country presently as it’s a known fact that such good things come with some form of hardship. Mr. President is obviously aware of this and this can be deduced from his frequent assurances that he made those serious economic decisions in the overall best interest of Nigerians adding that it’s a phase that would surely pass. He knows the situation of the country and hence, the plead for everyone to believe in the capacity and competence of the president to deliver.
BAT’s 4/4 Renewed Hope Agenda on a conclusive note appreciate the president, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his team for showing quality and exemplary leadership in handling and resolving the many challenges facing the country despite that many of the challenges have been there long before now. This shows that political will of the president and his team to renew the lost hope of Nigerians as promised by the president.
