Nigerian gay cries out on oppression of the country

Nigerian gay cries out on oppression of the country %Post Title
Though not generally accepted, the issue of gay/homosexuality is quite rampant in Nigeria as some gay persons within the country have managed to defile all odds and go on with this sexual orientation
A Lagos based homosexual identified simply as Ositadinma has reportedly been faced with a couple of life threatening moments, including being stigmatized by the public, badgered by the police and worst still, abandoned by family.
According to reports, he was forced to undergo a medical surgery carried out on him because he contracted an anal fistula, a disease that is usually contracted by people who engage in Anal Sex.  It was gathered that the surgery was carried out at Jolad hospital, Lagos in 2012
By 2017, despite being driven underground by the police, the handsome young man who is supposedly happily married was caught in the act of sodomy where his partner was arrested at his residence. Luckily for him, he managed to escape
In the recent turn of events,  Ositadinma was said to sustained an injury on the back of his head during a recent mob attack,  as he  was caught in the act
Upon questioning, his wife revealed that prior to this time, she had always suspected him to be gay, as he exhibited some strange activities which she had overlooked
Ironically, the phenomenon of the repercussion of the obscene act does not curtail the increasing number of people coming out as homosexuals in the country, as a large number of them seek refuge in countries that can accept their personality
While in diaspora, more than 50% of them are seen to rejuvenate their partially non-existent social life as they begin to trust more and feel more appreciated in foreign countries
Several arguments have surfaced regarding the said issue as the minority of the influential homosexuals in Nigeria, opt to fight for their cause and involve the Government in their cry for freedom.   However, as at today, absolutely nothing has been done to change the story
In the end, these are individuals who deserve their rights as against being outcasts even in their fatherland.
