Nigerian Rapper Arrested Over Murder In South Africa
Nigerian rapper, Nicholas Ebanehita Ogbeifun has been apprehended over the murder of another Nigerian man in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The deceased is identified simply as Ajence was shot and killed assassination style at a petrol station on Central Avenue, in the Kempton Park area, Gauteng, on Monday, January 3.

The gangland-style execution sparked a police chase and a violent shoot-out, with two other Nigerian nationals killed and three others captured, including Ogbeifun.
Ogbeifun also known as Nico Dorja is said to be an alleged member of the Neo Black Movement of Africa, an alleged front for Black Axe.
Grace Langa, a spokesperson for the Independent Police Investigative Directorate (Ipid), said on Wednesday that Ogbeifun, John Ohami, and Jeda Quadri appeared in the Kempton Park magistrate’s court in connection with Ajence’s murder.
Ipid was brought in to investigate after one of the murder suspects was purportedly slain by police.
On Thursday, January 13, 2022, Ogbeifun and his co-accused are scheduled to appear in the Kempton Park magistrate’s court for a bail application.
Nicholas was born in Esan west local government area of Edo state, on september 23rd 1983.
He graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering , University of Benin (UNIBEN)
