Nnamdi Kanu Is Still Hiding In London – Orji Uzor Kalu Assures Ngerians
Former Governor of Abia state, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, on Tuesday disclosed that the erstwhile leader of the Independent People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, is in London, where he had earlier fled.
Kalu made the revelation in an interview with newsmen after meeting former military president, General Ibrahim Badamasi in Minna to canvass support for the re-election bid of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The former Governor and his entourage arrived at Babangida’s hilltop residence at 12:08pm in three black Toyota jeeps and two Hillux Vans.
He was then ushered into the guest room, where he held a closed-door meeting with Babangida.
Nnamdi Kanu hasn’t been seen or heard from since the military carried out Operation Python Dance II in the south-east a year ago.
IPOB claims, but fails to prove, that he has been held captive by the army since the raid, an assertion the army denies.
