The son of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State, Babajide, has said that despite controversies that surrounded his appointment as Director-General, Performance and Project Implementation Unit at the Office of the Governor, last year, no one has challenged his capacity and capabilities in office.
The governor had in November 2021 announced the appointment of Babajide alongside 14 commissioners and seven special advisers. The development was greeted with criticisms, with many accusing the governor of nepotism.
Speaking in an interview with our correspondent on Friday however, Babajide said the criticisms remained rumours and that he had justified the confidence reposed in him. (Punch)
