Davido, while opening up about the wealth of the Adelekes, revealed that his family owns two private jets and they are often unused.
He spoke about the financial strain of maintaining private jets as well.
“Maintaining the jets over the years is more expensive than buying the jets, But thank God my family has a very lucrative business that can manage that.” Davido stated.
He also stated that the jets are rarely used except by him, due to the nature of his career.
“My dad doesn’t go anywhere, my siblings barely travel It’s mostly me because of my work, So the jets are just packed when I’m not using them,” Davido explained.
The Grammy Nominee who is the son of Adedeji Adeleke, a well known businessman and billionaire said both aircrafts are mostly put to use during large family gatherings and vacations.
“When we go on holidays, we carry both of them, My wedding? We came back with both jets – back to back, man, but when we go on holidays, like 60 of us, some people take commercial flights,” he said while explaining that not all members of the large family get the exclusive treatment.
