Adeboye Obasanjo – son of former President Olusegun Obasanjo is decorated as a Brigadier General.

It would be recalled that Brigadier General Adeboye, seven years ago, was shot and wounded by Boko Haram insurgents in the Mubi area of Adamawa State, where he was leading a platoon against the terrorist group. He was treated and subsequently discharged from the hospital.
Adeboye was promoted to the rank in December, 2021.
