A student of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Arinola Olaiya Blessing, has emerged as the best graduating student in the Faculty of Clinical Sciences after obtaining 12 distinctions in her courses.
Olaiya, who is the first student in 28 years to graduate with such result from the faculty, clinched 17 prizes during the recent convocation ceremony of the institution.
He added that the performance was a remarkable record because she had performed beyond the expected three core courses in which graduands offering the course are expected to record at least three distinctions.
Meet Dr. Aarinola Olaiya Blessing. She broke a 28-year record in Obafemi Awolowo University’s College of Medicine, Ile-Ife and in the Nigeria Medical School, having graduated with 12 distinctions and with 17 prizes.
