Okowa not interfering in my govt, says Oborevwori

The Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori, has said his predecessor, Ifeanyi Okowa, does not meddle in his administration of the state.

According to Oborevwori, Okowa is a good man, who respects the office of the governor.

He spoke on Monday at the 60th birthday and 24th marriage anniversary thanksgiving of the Delta State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party,  Kingsley Esiso.

Oborevwori said, “Senator Okowa is a good man; he is not like other predecessors of other states. He has never interfered in the governance of the state. He has immense respect for the office of the governor, being an immediate past occupant of the office.

“Our immediate past governor is a very refined man. So many rumours were flying, but the truth is that he has never ever interfered in what we are doing in the state.”

Oborevwori thanked the people of Sapele for supporting him to emerge Delta governor, assuring them that his MORE Agenda would be felt across the state.

In a sermon, titled “Power of faith for the fulfilment of prophecies,” Resident Pastor, Winners Chapel, Sapele, Pastor Victory Irabor, said God’s plans for his children were good and affirmed that there was a need for Christians to put their faith into action.
