A man was shot to death and four others were injured after an altercation outside an Orlando sports bar on Monday morning, Orange County deputies said.

According to orlandosentinel, Deputies arrived at the Happy Place Sports Bar at 7400 Southland Blvd. around 1:30 a.m. and found two people shot, Lt. Bob Padilla said. One worked as a security guard at the business, and the other was a man who died on the scene, Padilla said.

Orange County Sheriff’s spokeswoman Ingrid Tejada-Monforte said three other victims arrived to ORMC on their own and told authorities they were involved in the same shooting.

The security guard was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center. Tejada-Monforte said one of the other men who was shot is in a critical condition. The three other victims are in a stable condition.

“Somebody knows what happened early this morning,” Tejada-Monforte said at a press conference Monday morning.

Authorities found several shell casings outside the establishment. Investigators said it could be one or more suspects still at large, Tejada-Monforte said.

Witnesses told deputies there was a verbal altercation in the parking lot before the shooting, Padilla said. The male victims are cooperating with authorities.

No other information was immediately available.
