OritseFemi accused of supporting police brutality in new video – Watch

Nigerian singer Oritsefemi is currently under fire on Twitter after some users accused him of supporting Police brutality in his new music video.

In the music video, the ‘Double Wahala’ crooner sampled a clip of police assaulting a woman, who has since been identified as Tola Azeez. He also endorsed the action by singing;

“Shey na wen dem go sama you before you learn lesson.

People are calling out the musician for being insensitive with the victim saying she had reached out to the singer to take down the video but he called her bluff.

Do you remember the viral video of a lady that was flogged by some rogue @PoliceNG

men in Iwo, Osun state? @oritsefemi

used the same video in his new music video justifying the actions of the policemen who have since been dismissed. Some of your celebrities are very insensitive.

Kindly note that I reached out to @oritsefemi

through a friend yesterday after the lady in the viral video, @fabhally

called my attention to the situation and dude was bragging unintelligently. We will initiate legal actions against him.

If you recall some police officers in Osun state were recently dismissed by the force after a video of the brutalizing Tola Azeez went viral on social media.
