Otedola demonstrates his altruism again
Billionaire and business mogul, Femi Otedola has once again demonstrated his selflessness and philanthropism by offering to sponsor a young girl through school.
This is not the first time Otedola is in the spotlight because of his philanthropic gestures, as he is one of the wealthy people in the country who have altruistic desires to improve human welfare.
Otedola revealed his desire to help the little girl when he shared a video of her singing his daughter’s latest song, Gelato on his Instagram page. Impressed by the girl’s performance, Otedola asked for herwhereabouts and offered her a full scholarship to university level.
Otedola said, “My daughter, can you find this girl? I will provide her scholarship from now through University!”
Otedola’s philanthropic acts: This act of kindness is a testament that the business magnate is not relenting. In the past, he had paid medical bills for veteran actors – Victor Olaotan who was involved in a car accident and Sadiq Daba who was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Otedola also paid the medical bills of former Eagle’s captain and coach, Christian Chukwu who was also diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Last month, Otedola gave out $25,000 to the Super Eagles for their performance during 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON). He and Dangote had pledged to reward the team for every goal scored during the tournament.
Meanwhile, the billionaire recently visited Aliko Dangote’s refinery which he described as awonderland. He went to witness the arrival of the Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) which provides the thermodynamic link between the gas turbines and steam turbines in a combined-cycle power plant.
