The Police in Lagos State have arrested three suspects over the killing of Aribemchukwu, the daughter of Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia. She was reportedly killed in her Parkview Estate residence in the Ikoyi area of Lagos State.
Until her death, the late Aribemchukwu was a doctor and had recently married. The deceased’s father, Soboma Ajumogobia, is the younger brother of a former Minister of State for Petroleum and later a former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Odein Ajumogobia.
Aribemchukwu was killed Tuesday’s night, and her body was discovered yesterday’s morning outside the gate of her residence. Confirming the incident, spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin said her body has been recovered.
According to him, three persons have been arrested in connection to the murder.He further noted that those arrested were Aribemchukwu’s domestic staff.
