Iseyin area of Oyo state also recorded a share of wantom looting and attack on individuals and public facilities on Thursday.

A police station and the base of the Nigeria Customs Office in Iseyin were looted by hoodlums and suspected criminals

A viral video on social media showed the hoodlums carting away fridge and other valuable items from the attacked Customs office.

This attack is connected to the unrest and looting that have taken over the country in the last few days after the hijack of EndSARS protests by hoodlums.

Sources informs that the Thursday morning attack on the police station and customs base in Iseyin was a continuation of the vandalization of properties in the town which began on Wednesday.

The source, a resident of Iseyin disclosed that the Aseyin of Iseyin on Wednesday evening attempted to persuade the hoodlums to let peace reign but that the appeal fell on deaf hears as they still went ahead with their attacks.

The source added that palpable fears and apprehension has enveloped many parts of the ancient city as many residents now live in fear of the unknown.

Many shops and businesses, especially those in popular areas decided to stay under lock and keys on Thursday for fear of being attacked and looted by the hoodlums.
