South South United People Forum, SSUPF, Lagos State chapter has endorsed the re-election bid of the All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate in Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-olu.
The group which held its rally yesterday in Ajegunle, Lagos, also directed its members to vote for all APC candidates in the state House of Assembly poll.
Addressing participants at the rally, the chairman of the group, Paul Ogholemu, said the group was bent on ensuring that they mobilised huge number of voters to vote for Sanwo-Olu and all candidates of APC for Lagos State House of Assembly, to guarantee continuity and completion all projects.
Meanwhile, a pro-Fashola group, yesterday in Lagos, dismissed claims that the Minister of Works, Power and Housing, Mr. Babtunde Fashola was against the candidacy of Sanwo-Olu.
Speaking to newsmen during a pro- Sanwo-Olu rally, the leader of Ward G1 Surulere Constituency, Mr. Olayiwola Niniola, said: “We are countering the rumour out there about the Minister not supporting the APC gubernatorial candidate.
“In Surulere, we have two constituencies, we are using this opportunity to beg residents, both male and female above the age of 18 to come out and vote this Saturday.”
