Real Madrid willing to offer €200m for Kylian Mbappe
Real Madrid are set to present their new offer for Kylian Mbappe. The Spanish side had already tried to sign him last season but the Frenchman renewed his contract with Paris Saint-Germain in May 2022.
But the situation has changed in the last few hours. The France international told the French club on Monday that he would not be taking up an option to extend his contract until 2025.
The Parc des Princes outfit were very surprised by the striker’s attitude and have given him an ultimatum: either he renews his contract until 2025 or they will seek a transfer this summer.
It appears the star has had enough, as on Tuesday afternoon, he took to Twitter, replying to the outlet’s Tweet which claimed he wanted the move, and wrote “LIES… At the same time, the bigger it is, the more it passes. I have already said that I will continue next season at PSG where I am very happy”.
Madrid were expecting to sign Mbappe for the 2023/24 season but, according to ‘L’Equipe’, ‘Los Blancos’ are willing to offer 200 million euros to secure his services in the next transfer window. The Spanish board are convinced that the French side will accept the offer, otherwise they will have to let him leave as a free agent next campaign.
