Ronaldo speaks on second mission in Manchester United
Cristiano Ronaldo has said that he returned to Manchester United to win again and not for a trip down memory lane.
Ronaldo said this in an interview with former teammate Wes Brown.
The Portuguese expressed confidence in his talent and that of his teammates.
“This is why I am here,” states Ronaldo, with a look of determination.
“I am not here for a vacation. As I told you, before was good, winning important things and I wore the shirt before many years ago, but I am here to win again.
“I am capable, me and my team-mates. I am ready to go, I am ready to go. It is a good chance for me, for the supporters, for the club, to get one step ahead.
“I am ready and I think I will be a huge thing in the next three or four years.”
“I am not here for a vacation. As I told you, before was good, winning important things and I wore the shirt before many years ago, but I am here to win again.
Ronaldo’s initial six-year spell with United began in 2003. During that time he helped the club secure a long list of silverware, winning three Premier League titles, a Champions League, as well as a host of other domestic honours.
The Portuguese may make his debut when Newcastle travel to Old Trafford on Saturday.
