Rose Leslie Didn’t Speak to Kit Harington for 3 Days After He Spoiled the ‘Game of Thrones’ Ending
As we’re entering a new month and Game of Thronesis just a little over two months away, fans have been desperate for any bit of information we can find about the final season. While we obsessively dig through Reddit for new theories, it looks like the loved ones of the show’s cast are beginning to get some spoilers. Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark, revealed she’s told “a few people” how the series ends, despite fiancé Joe Jonas only months previously stating she wasn’t going to tell him. Now, Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow, has also let important details slip.
This past October, Harington told Esquire he hadn’t told wife Rose Leslie how Thrones ends, even going as far as to claim he wouldn’t be telling anyone. Leslie, who played Jon’s lover Ygritte Wildling in the show, obviously has a deeper connection to the story than just any everyday fan. But Harington was adamant on not telling her.
Fast forward only a few months, and Harington obviously reconsidered at some point. While speaking on the Kiss Breakfast radio show today, the actor confirmed he told Leslie the ending of Game of Thrones, and it resulted in a big problem.
According to Daily Mail, the actor stated, “I told my wife last year how it ended, and she wouldn’t talk to me for about three days. And she’d asked!” This is why spoilers are never a good idea, no matter how badly we think we want them. Also, “last year”? Was Harington lying back in October, or did he tell Leslie towards the end of the year?
When asked if Harington was satisfied with the ending, he didn’t have a clear answer. “It’s a weird one to answer that, I can’t really answer whether I’m happy or not,” he shared. “I don’t think it’s about happy or sad really. I’m satisfied with what they did, but I don’t know whether I’ll be really satisfied until I see it.”
We really don’t have a real idea on what to expect for the Game of Thrones finale, but we’re excited to finally just see for ourselves. The final season begins on April 14. (Floor8)
