The governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has given his first appointment to Tayo Ayinde as Chief of Staff. .
Ayinde was Sanwo-Olu’s Campaign Director, close sources to Ayinde confirmed the development.

Independent Online reports that the out-going Governor of Lagos State, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode, on Tuesday officially handed over to the Governor-elect, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, ahead of his inauguration on Wednesday.
Shortly after the handing over at the Government House, Alausa, the governor-elect told newsmen that it “was a very private formal hand-over’’.
The governor-elect was accompanied by his running-mate in the election, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat.
