Stay Strong, Presidential Aspirant Charges Imam Khalid
A Presidential aspirant of the Accord party, Prof. Christopher Imumolen, has faulted the the suspension and sacking of Chief Imam of Apo Legislative Quarters Juma’at Mosque Abuja, Sheikh Muhammad Nuru Khalid.
The Chief Imam was suspended and subsequently sacked by the Mosque’s committee after criticising the federal government over the spate of insecurity and killings in the country.
Imumolen, in a statement, urged the suspended Imam to stay strong.
He said the suspension of Khalid came few hours after their crucial meeting in Abuja.
According to him, it is obvious that the powers that be want Nigerians to keep quite while insecurity takes over the country.
He urged the cleric to stay strong as numerous attacks would be launched against him, especially as they operate under the aegis of government.
Imumolen assured the suspended Imam that the truth will always prevail over falsehood and propaganda.
