“Stop threatening Ejimakor” – Kanu fires warning to IPOB members amidst Crisis

Kanunta Kanu, the younger brother of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has called on supporters of Biafra to halt attacking and threatening Aloy Ejimakor, a solicitor to the incarcerated pro-Biafra group leader.

POLITICS NIGERIA recalls that Ejimakor had on Monday raised an alarm, saying his life was under threat. He accused people he has been defending for years of wanting to kill him.

In a tweet on his known Twitter handle, the legal practitioner linked the threat of murder from proponents of the outlawed IPOB to the suspension of the sit-at-home directive by IPOB leadership.

He clarified that detained Kanu did not pass the sit-at-home order that was started about three weeks ago through him, as the message “was already delivered by others days before I visited him on 9th August”.

Now, Nnamdi Kanu’s sibling has cautioned IPOB members against intimidating Ejimakor and other IPOB activists.

“The big picture here is #BIAFRA and #MaziNnamdiKanu .
#Biafran restoration is not a #talkshow.
“Stop threatening men working for #Biafra.
“Some people draw near to #IPOB with their mouth; And honor #IPOB with their lips, But their hearts are far from #Biafra.
#OkikeFreeOurMind,” Kanu wrote on his known Twitter handle on Wednesday
