Teenage girl beheaded by boyfriend after she ended the affair
Swedes are in total shock to learn that a teenage girl declared missing last year, had been beheaded by her boyfriend.
Wilma Andersson, 17, went missing on November 14, after going to 23 year-old Tishko Ahmed Shabaz’s flat to pick up her things.
The pair had reportedly been together for two years before she ended the relationship.
Police then searched the man’s flat and reportedly found traces of blood inside, local media reports.
Officers claim they then discovered Wilma’s severed head in a suitcase, wrapped in aluminium foil and sticky tape, on November 28.
Shabaz, originally from Iraq, has now been charged with her murder and his trial will begin on May 26.
Officers are still yet to find Wilma’s body.
Shabaz has denied killing Wilma, with local media reporting that he said: ‘If I had murdered her, I would not have cut off her head’.
He consistently answered ‘no comment’ when questioned by officers in April and stated that they were forgetting he loved her.
Prosecutors claim she was subjected to ‘repeated violence’ during her death.
The victim’s mum Linda Andersson reported her missing on November 14 and a total of 5,000 police officers, experts and volunteers were involved in one of Sweden’s largest ever searches.
Mrs Andersson told local TV that she had ‘kept ringing the doorbell’ to Shabaz’s home but he ‘only said they had had an argument and that she just ran out of the apartment.’
