The last period hasn’t been great – Bruno Fernandes reacts to Ten Hag’s sack
Manchester United captain, Bruno Fernandes, has reacted to the Premier League’s club decision to sack Erik ten Hag as manager.
The Red Devils decided to fire Ten Hag following Sunday’s 2-1 defeat at West Ham.
“Thanks for everything, boss! I appreciate the trust and the moments we share together, I wish you all the best,” Fernandes wrote on Instagram.
“Even knowing the last period hasn’t been great from all of us.
“I hope you fans can keep with you the good things Erik has done for our club.”
United have also announced that former striker, Ruud van Nistelrooy, will take over the team on an interim basis.
Van Nistelrooy was brought in to join Ten Hag’s backroom staff last summer.
