A woman, Esther Adesiyan who was abducted alongside her husband, Michael and her son has been killed by her abductors.
Esther was abducted in the early hours of Monday from their residence in Chikakore area of Kubwa, Federal Capital Territory.
Also kidnapped during the attack is an elder brother of Mr Michael.
It was gathered that the kidnappers continued their activity by attacking poultry farm after the ordeal in Esther’s residence.
At the second location, the gunmen kidnapped a man and injured his wife.
A family member who confirmed the woman’s death said her body has been recovered around Ijah-Gbagyi community in Tafa LGA of Niger State.
According to the source, Esther’s body was recovered on Tuesday morning by some vigilante members in the area.
The vigilantes had sent messages to their counterparts in Chikakore area when they discovered the body.
The source added, “The DPO of the Byazhin division here in Kubwa called me in the morning, and together we moved to the village to evacuate her remains. It has been deposited at the Kubwa General Hospital morgue.’’
Other sources said the woman appeared to have been exhausted while the kidnappers moved their victims into the bush leading their killing of her.
The source also said the kidnapper left her body in the area and continued their mission with other victims.
Also, Esther is survived by her husband and four children including the one in captivity of the kidnappers.
The kidnappers are also yet to communicate with members of the victims’ family since their abduction.
