The immediate past Vice-Chancellor of the University of Abuja (UniAbuja) has officially handed over the reins of the institution to his successor, 41-year-old Professor Aisha Maikudi.
This comes as the 10th Governing Council of the institution will be inaugurated on Thursday, July 4, 2024.
At a brief handover ceremony at the Vice Chancellor’s Conference Room in the University’s permanent site on Monday, Prof Na’Allah pleaded with the staff of the university to render unconditional support to the Acting VC.
In her response, Prof. Maikudi promised to build on the achievements of the outgone Vice Chancellor.
She revealed that the 10th Governing Council of the institution would be inaugurated this Thursday.
