Uzodinma makes 16 new appointments, special advisers now 36
Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State, two months after he was sworn-in, at the weekend appointed eight more special advisers, ballooning the number to 36.
He also named eight senior special assistants, who are now over 20.
Chief Press secretary, Oguwike Nwachuku, said Uzodinma has directed the Secretary to Government to issue the appointees with the necessary letters as their appointments are with immediate effect.
The new special advisers are: Celia Osakwe Hibbert, Aloysius Nnabugo, Dr. Samuelson Emehibe, Dr. Obianuju Nwokejiobi, Chief Kenneth Okafor, Tanana Biaduo, Dan Ikpeazu and Barr. Austin Nnawuihe
The SSAs appointed are:Franklyn Oparaji, Charles Ebuonuma, Chimezie Nweke, Mrs. Chika Ibekwe, Franca Uzodinma, Barr. Lodrick Chukwudi Eneh, Barr. M. D. Zubairu and Mrs. Ihemdi Ngozi.
After announcing the first appointees on 17 January, in which he unveiled the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Attorney, General, Chief of Staff and Chief press Secretary, Uzodinma has been churning out more appointees from his labour mill.
Uzodinma first made the first appointments of advisers on 26 February, unveiling a list of nine persons.
On 12 March, he appointed 18 more special advisers and 12 senior special assistants.
He followed up on 13 March by appointing retired chief judge Paschal Nnadi as his 28th adviser.
