Wizkid concert tickets at O2 arena sold out in 12 minutes
The tickets for Wizkid’s concert at the 20,000 capacity O2 Arena in London have been sold out.
Wizkid announced the tickets sold out in just 12 minutes after it opened on O2 Arena’s site.
“Sold out the 02 Arena in 12 minutes. London! I love you,” he captioned the flyer of the show scheduled to hold on November 28, 2021.
Wizkid’s partner and manager attested to the claim saying, “This feeling is undeniably insane. Wizkids sold out the O2 Arena in 12 minutes. Absolute madness .”
Sony Music UK social media handle also responded to Wizkid’s claim saying, “Legendary behaviour.”
However, O2 Arena is yet to verify the claims as the social media handle of the concert hall is still promoting the sales of tickets to the concert.
Bu his fans have been clamouring for a second date at the same venue following the claims that the tickets have been sold out.
The Grammy award winning music act becomes Africa’s biggest music act who has sold out 20,000 capacity O2 Arena in London in 12 minutes.
This is Wizkid’s third time of selling out O2 Arena, the world’s busiest music arena.
This would also be Wizkid’s sixth time performance at the prestigious venue.
He had performed at Drake, Future and Tinie’s shows.
He had also held a Wizkid festival at the same venue and sold out.
