Nikki Pegram, a woman suffering memory loss after hitting her head on a metal pole, has disclosed that the accident left her with another, more unusual, side effect – it’s driven her ‘sex crazy’.
According to Nikki, she has had urges to sleep with multiple men since the bump four years ago, and her boyfriend Marc Gausden, 32, doesn’t mind. The full-time mum lives with Marc and her son Freddie, seven, and says:
“Life is so much better when your sex life is fulfilled.
“Sex with one person can become routine. Knowing I can have wild sex with a guy then come home to my amazing boyfriend is a dream.”
Nikki was in a monogamous relationship until October 2014, when she fell and hit her head on a metal pole. She was diagnosed with antero-grade amnesia. Her relationship with Freddie’s dad lasted until December the following year.
After her break up, she rediscovered her love for sex and said it was her “chance to embrace a more adventurous life”. Nikki said she’d never been tempted to stray from her partner because she loved him, but when they broke up the sexual urges she’d “never had before” started.
Nikki, of Wellingborough in Northants, says: “Before, I was in a seven-year relationship. I loved him and never felt tempted to sleep with anyone else.
“But when we broke up, it was my chance to embrace a more adventurous love life.
“I had sexual urges I’d never had before. I enjoyed meeting new men and having physical relationships.”
Nikki matched with pub manager Marc on Tinder in January 2016.
She said: “We’d meet three or four times a week and sleep together, then over time we wanted something more. I loved having a boyfriend again.”
But Nikki’s higher sex drive made her crave the attention of other men.
She says: “I wanted Marc but I didn’t want to cheat. We decided to try an open relationship. It gave me that excitement I craved.”
Nikki signed up to Tinder and Plenty Of Fish. Marc chatted up women in his job as a pub manager.
Nikki says: “The first guy I slept with was an ex. He messaged me, I flirted back and we met up.
“I told him the situation and he didn’t seem to mind. The sex was so exciting. I’ve met the other men on dating apps. Flirting online is as fun as the sex. I love how spontaneous it is and free of emotion.”
