Yaya Toure flirts with Manchester United transfer and insists: I want to teach Pogba
YAYA TOURE has refused to rule out a sensational switch to Manchester United.
And the Manchester City legend wants to “teach” Paul Pogba how to become a Premier League great.
Toure, 35, who is a free agent after finishing the season with City, told the MEN: “Yeah, he just left. We’ll see, we’ll see.
“I don’t rule big teams out. The big teams are very important for me. What they want to achieve, the way they want to go, for me is very important.
“It’s going to be hard one day to play against City, but I have to do that. It is part of my job.”
Toure won three Premier League titles, two League Cups and the FA Cup in eight years at the Etihad.
And he wants to continue playing for another two years at the highest level and competing in Europe.
The Ivorian midfielder admits he has a thing or two he could teach United’s under-fire £89million star Pogba, 25.
He added: “Pogba – it’s difficult because of the way the media has treated him. We don’t have the same characteristics because for me I was involved in all the ball, I ran everywhere.
