Nigerian football prodigy Richard Ajayi has made a breakthrough into top-flight European football, and he is expected to start making the headlines in the next few months.
The left-footed player who can play from the left-back, left-forward and central midfield positions and would be 16 years old in December, has already been turning heads and has therefore earned an invitation to join the Bayern Munich first team training.
Ajayi, a product of Badagry-based amateur team Stars-To-Be Football Club, joined the Bundesliga champions three years ago and has already been earning rave commendations and comparisons to legends like David Alaba.
Ajayi, who expressed his delight at his promotion to the first team, was quick to state that the hard and real work begins now, adding that he his ready to live up to the expectations of his coaches at the team.(Punch)
