Bayern Munich Secure Consecutive Bundesliga Titles With Win Over Stuttgart
Bayern Munich have been crowned champions of the 2025/26 Bundesliga season after a commanding 4-2 victory over VfB Stuttgart at the Allianz Arena on Sunday.
Needing just a point to seal the title, Vincent Kompany’s side delivered an emphatic performance, coming from behind to secure all three points. Goals from Raphael Guerreiro, Nicolas Jackson, Alphonso Davies and Harry Kane sealed the comeback win, with Kane taking his league tally to 32 goals for the season.
Bayern have now amassed 79 points from 30 matches, opening up a commanding 15-point lead over second-placed Borussia Dortmund, whose late push for the title ultimately fell short.
The triumph marks Bayern’s second consecutive Bundesliga crown and their 35th overall, further underlining their domestic dominance. Kompany has now won the league in each of his first two seasons in charge.
The Bavarians have maintained a firm grip on the title race throughout the campaign, leading the table from the opening matchday. Their consistency has been remarkable, with just one defeat all season, suffered in January, while also integrating nine academy players into the first team.
They set a new benchmark with a 17-match unbeaten start to the season and have already surpassed the previous Bundesliga scoring record of 101 goals. Bayern currently boast 109 goals with four matches still to play.
With the league title secured, Bayern remain on course for a historic treble, as they continue their campaigns in both the German Cup and the UEFA Champions League semi-finals.
