Portugal football legend, Cristiano Ronaldo, has finally married his partner of 10 years, Georgina Rodriguez.

The civil ceremony took place in Portugal.

A picture confirming that the duo has tied the knot was posted on social media by Ronaldo, showcasing the rings that sealed the union.

The ceremony took place in Ronaldo’s private residence in Quinta da Marinha located in the coastal resort town Cascais, just 20 miles off capital city of Lisbon.

Their five children were in attendance.

The event took place exactly one year after their engagement announcement on August 11, 2025.

Ronaldo, who earlier this year stated his intention not to rush into marriage, posted the picture on Instagram, with the caption “C heart G”.

Ronaldo had earlier hinted the public of the ceremony following the exit of Portugal from the 2026 World Cup, with the 41-year-old stating his desire to get married to Rodriguez whom he met while she was working in hospitality and retail business sector.

She was a sales assistant at a luxury Gucci store.

Ronaldo’s wedding comes less than a week to the start of the new Saudi Pro League season where his club, Al Nassr, begins its title defence under new manager, Ange Postecoglu.

The couple has five children- four born by Rodriguez, who has been with Ronaldo since his days as a Real Madrid player.

Ronaldo has scored 976 goals across his career from Sporting Lisbon to Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, Al Nassr, and the Portugal national team.

The goal poacher needs 24 goals to reach a record 1,000 career goals.
