BREAKING: Police suspend enforcement of tinted glass permit
The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has suspended the planned enforcement of the tinted glass permit policy in compliance with a subsisting court order.
The enforcement of the policy was scheduled to commence on January 2, 2026.
However, Benjamin Hundeyin, force spokesperson, said in a statement on Thursday that the implementation of the policy has been put on hold.
He explained that the suspension will remain in effect until the court hears and determines the substantive suit or lifts the existing order.
The police added that further details on the matter would be communicated in due course.
