Suspected bandits have abducted the Imam of Babanla, a local security guard, and his son along the Oke-Ode–Babanla Road in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The incident, according to local sources, occurred on Sunday night, raising fresh concerns over the worsening insecurity in the area.

“They were on their way from Oke-Ode to Babanla on Sunday night when the kidnappers attacked and abducted the Imam, security guard and his son identified as Fawas,” the source said.
