BREAKING: Rivers assembly rejects four Fubara’s commissioner nominees
The Rivers state house of assembly has rejected four commissioner nominees submitted by the state governor, Siminalayi Fubara.
The nominees were screened by the lawmakers on Monday during a session held at the Assembly complex in Port Harcourt.
Following the screening exercise, the assembly confirmed five nominees, including Tonye Bellgam, Professor Temple Nwofor, Peters Nwagor, Lekue Kenneth and Sir Amairigha Edward Hart.
Those rejected are Professor Datonye Alasia, Charity Deemua, Tamuno Williams, and Otonye TKD Amachree.
