Nigerian Woman, Two Children Killed In Texas Auto Crash As Truck Bursts Into Flames

A Nigerian woman, Nihinlolawa Agoro, and two of her children have been killed in a tragic road accident in Fort Bend County, Texas, United States, following a violent head-on collision involving an SUV and a truck.

The fatal crash occurred around 9 a.m. on Sunday, March 15, 2026, along the US-90A highway between Harlem Road and Pitts Road, according to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities said the SUV, which was carrying five occupants, was travelling eastbound when a truck heading westbound crossed the median, lost control, and slammed directly into the vehicle.

The truck subsequently rolled over and burst into flames.

Officials confirmed that three occupants of the SUV, aged 18, 22, and 44, were pronounced dead at the scene. The victims included Agoro and her two children, identified as Temiloluwa and Isaac.

The truck driver, a 20-year-old man, and two other children in the SUV, a four-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl, were rushed to hospital with serious injuries.

According to reports, investigators are working to determine the cause of the crash, including whether alcohol played a role in the incident.

According to the post, preliminary findings suggest the victims may have been on their way to church at the time, based on their clothing.

The incident has sparked an outpouring of grief on social media, with family members and friends mourning the deceased.

A relative, Lola Oni, confirmed the tragedy in a Facebook post, alleging that the crash was caused by a drunk driver.

“Sad, my stepsister Nihinlolawa Agoro (Lolawa) and two of her children were killed in a car crash by a drunk driver in Texas… I’m broken beyond words,” she wrote, while calling for prayers for the bereaved family. (SaharaReporters)
