2027: Gov Yusuf vows to galvanise support for Tinubu’s re-election in Kano

Ahead of 2027 general election, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has vowed to work assiduously for the re-election of President Bola Ahmad Tinubu, assuring the firm controlling of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano.

Besides, Governor Yusuf declared that Federal government economic and physical reforms evidence in infrastructural, health, education and agricultural development in the country are credible enough to guarantee to return President Tinubu for the second term.

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf gave the assurance while addressing residents and APC supporters at the government house Saturday evening after an eight hours ground reception and rally that welcome him back to Kano from Abuja.

Governor Yusuf who was away for 10 days attending Zonal, National Convention of the APC in Kaduna and Abuja respectively received a rousing welcome from supporters drawn across the 44 local government areas in a practical show of political strength of the party in Kano.

According to Governor Yusuf “Mr. President has been doing his best for this country and he has improved the economy of this country. Let me seize this opportunity to thank the President and Commander-In-Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces,President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCRF for his doggedness in ensuring that dividends of democracy are provided in Nigeria.

“And let me say that he is also doing his best to ensure that all infrastructure are provided within all the zones and within the limited time and resources available to the Federal Government. The President’s economic impact are evidence based especially on education, health, agriculture, infrastructure, social welfare and other sectors.

” Let me assure Mr. President that Kano belong to APC and APC is synonymous to Kano. We are going to mobilize total support to vote APC and President Tinubu’s re-election in Kano. The President should be rest assured that we are fully in charge of the politics in Kano.

“Let me say that we in Kano State are fully behind Mr.President and we will support his re-election come 2027,by the Grace of Allah (SWT),” the governor said.

He also stated that the All Progressives Congress(APC) is the only party capable of winning elections at all levels in Kano State and Nigeria, describing the opposition ADC and NNPP as weak forum that lack the impetus to win election.

“The APC is the only winning party in Kano State and Nigeria.There is no any other party that can take control of Kano State and Nigeria by the grace of God,” Yusuf said.

He congratulated the people of the state, especially members of the APC, for the successes recorded by the state during the Zonal Congress and the National Convention of the party.

The Governor then pledged that his administration would continue to do what is best for the people of the state in terms of the provision of dividends of democracy, especially infrastructure, health, education, agriculture, employment and empowerment of women and youths.
