My re-election a renewed call to service – Oyebanji
Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has described his re-election for a second term as a renewed call to service, pledging to govern with humility, compassion and the fear of God.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate expressed gratitude to Ekiti voters for the confidence reposed in his administration, saying the outcome of the governorship election had placed a greater responsibility on his shoulders.
“I have a proper understanding of the responsibility that this victory has placed on my shoulders. It is a responsibility of service to the people of Ekiti State,” Oyebanji said.
He assured residents that his administration would remain committed to delivering quality governance and improving the welfare of the people.
The governor urged citizens to expect even better performance in the coming years, noting that the renewed mandate would inspire his government to work harder in meeting the aspirations of the people.
Oyebanji added that his administration would continue to implement the state’s development agenda while remaining open to new ideas and emerging priorities.
“We have a development guide and we will continue to faithfully implement that plan. Our focus remains the comprehensive implementation of our development agenda for the benefit of all Ekiti people,” he stated.
